Homecare workers vote to approve new contract

With a strong showing of support, homecare and personal support workers approved our new contract with a 98.8% ‘yes’ vote.  The mail-in ballots were counted Thursday, July 26.

Find out what we’re doing this summer to build our union and protect services.

“Thank you to everyone who helped in the contract campaign and who voted to approve our new contract.  This historic contract unites over 18,000 Oregon care providers together.  Giving us way more strength to advocate for the quality services our consumers deserve.”

—Rebecca Sandoval, Homecare Worker Medford, Bargaining Team Chair

More information about our new contract.

This summer, we are talking to other providers around the state about building our union to advocate for services. We need to register voters, turn out to vote for ballot measures and legislators who will protect funding for our services, and be strong for next year’s budget and bargaining campaigns.  Will you join us?
