East Portland State Representatives and Senators, along with other local legislators, are holding a joint town hall Monday, July 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the SEIU Local 49 meeting hall, 3536 S.E. 26th Ave in Portland.
The topic is new foreclosure protections, passed by the legislature in Senate Bill 1552.
Besides legislators, foreclosure experts will be at the meeting affording Portland residents the opportunity to receive resources on foreclosure prevention and information how to access mediation services as provided by the 2012 foreclosure reform bill.
