SEIU represents more than 1000 nursing home workers who provide quality care and rehabilitation services for residents in 26 24-hour skilled nursing facilities across Oregon.
Through collective bargaining and legislative action, organized nursing home workers have won significant increases in wages and benefits and passed legislation that provides needed funding for services, while protecting patient care by establishing stricter staffing ratios.
