Training for Members, Leaders and Activists

Leadership Training Levels 1, 2, and 3. These trainings are offered monthly at locations around the state.

Chief Steward Training is offered quarterly.

Stewards' Conference is held once every two years.

Leadership Academy is an annual series.

Board Committee and Caucus Training is held every two years.

Specialized Trainings are offered occasionally, including: FMLA/OFLA/FLSA; State and Federal Wage regulations; bargaining team training; Communications and Informal Problem Solving for Work Site Leaders; Arbitration Screening and Media Training.

Labor Education and Research Center (LERC): The University of Oregon offers a variety of trainings through the Labor Education and Research Center.
