Over 150 members joined the Marion County bargaining team May 22 as we responded to management's proposal to take away two of our three weeks of Compensation Credits — a benefit we have had for over 20 years.
Petitions signed by over 450
employees were presented to management by members Letty Vega, Shelly Nebel, Jim
Trussell and Dean Corbin.
With signs supporting the bargaining team
position on Compensation Credits and other important issues, the large crowd
reinforced the Union's position and Dean's clear message of "No Thank
You" to management's bargaining team.
We begin bargaining weekly on June 5.
